For this photograph, I wanted to show how boys have a feminine side to them. We have been living in a society where we suppress this idea of men not being able to do certain things or express their emotions. Then the piano is sometimes considered a soft instrument and lots of people listen to music to get through things. I wanted the piano to show that being soft about things isn't a bad thing. It can be so beautiful to show our soft side. Combining these two ideas was unexpected but ended with such a great flow in its final result. I hope this shows many people that boys can express themselves without being seen as weak or less.
